Daniel Muk is the founder and head architect of Speakaso Academy, a modern speech and debate academy focused on building essential communication skills for future leaders. With over 11 years of international experience across 12 markets and a background working with global companies such as Mondelez, Nestlé, and Reckitt Benckiser, he combines academic rigour and persuasive strategy to mentor young Malaysians in crafting powerful narratives and communicating with confidence on a global stage.
Jie Yee began debating at fourteen, which shaped her path into advocacy and youth representation. Her experience includes leading Projek Anak Malaysia (PAM) 2024 as Programme Director, working as a Policy Intern with YB Wong Chen, and serving as a two-time panellist at the Malaysian Student Leaders Summit. With two years of coaching experience, she designs engaging classes that foster practical perspectives through interactive activities and thought-provoking challenges.
Ryan is an experienced debater and coach who has competed at national and international levels, including representing Malaysia at the World Schools Championship 2019. With a First Class Honours degree in Economics with Finance from the University of Edinburgh, he brings a strong analytical foundation to his coaching. His structured yet adaptive approach focuses on developing confident, curious, and articulate communicators who can think critically beyond competitive debate.
Munirah is a coach at Speakaso Academy who focuses on unlocking students’ confidence and helping them transform potential into performance. Her student-centered approach emphasizes clear articulation, respectful engagement with opposing views, and resilience under pressure, nurturing not only capable debaters but confident individuals with a lasting appreciation for thoughtful discourse.
Azim Nadzari began debating during his university years and has since competed at the highest levels nationally and internationally. He is a multiple Malaysian National finalist and champion, a Malaysian Best Speaker, and has achieved success at major international tournaments such as the Asian Championships, Oxford Intervarsity, and the World Championships. Beyond competing, Azim is an accomplished international adjudicator and has over five years of experience in debate education, including leading education programs at MIDP Youth and coaching at a premier debate academy in Shanghai.
Sanjivan Rajah has been involved in competitive debating since 2014 as both a top-level debater and coach. He represented Malaysia at the 2019 World Schools Debating Championship and is a multiple-time national champion and Best Speaker award recipient. As a coach and adjudicator, he has worked with leading debate organisations, contributed to the Malaysia World Schools Junior Team, and helped students achieve strong results at national competitions.
